Requirements for weddings on Lanzarote

Catholic Church weddings:

Either the bride or the groom must be catholic, and neither one must be divorced.

Paperwork Required:

• Civil letter of Freedom
• Certificate of OPre Marriage Guidance Course
• Pre-nuptual enquiry form
• Berth Certificates ( original Long)
• Original marriage and death certificate (if widdowed)
• 2 photocopies of passports (one for the Wedding planner)
• 2 photocopies of each Birth Certificate (one of each for the Wedding planner)

Church of England:

Here in Lanzarote we have our own resident vicar who carries out the Church of England blessings for wedding and the Renewal of Vows in one of our beautiful churches and any one of our stunning locations, just let your imagination run away with for weddings and the Renewal of Vows in one of our beautiful churches and any one of our locations.

• Church of England Ceremony in church
• Proof of Civil Ceremony in UK/Ireland
• Passports and Birth Certificates

For your Blessing/Reneval of Vows:

• Proof of marriage
• Passports
• Birth Certificates
